Welcome to Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club
Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club is an ideal place to visit when looking for a golf course near Cambridge. The club was formed in 1922 as a Mens Club, it was set up by the local businessmen. The first premises were rather humble, a room was rented in the 'Great Whyte' in the centre of town. As the club prospered it was decided to purchase the old vicarage which is still occupied today with of course some additional buildings being added on. Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club is a vibrant and forward thinking club; with 514 golfing members across all categories. There is a flourishing cadet and junior section, the junior section have set themselves an objective of attaining the Golf Mark accreditation during 2010.
