Macmillan Day Thanks

The following is a statement from Club Member Richard Powley following the successful Macmillan golf day last Friday.

“We have currently raised just over £2k and hopefully a few more pounds to come in.
The day was a full success and I would like to thank Yourself and Vice for coming down to support us, plus Scotty & Mitch for all their assistance.

I would also like to thank Terry Cripps, Mark Coverdale, and Pete Welham for the kind loan of their buggies, and all Members, family and friends that kindly sponsored us.

And finally, to the golfers whom took time off work to take part in the challenge.
We were all a little fatigued afterwards but nothing a few beverages and a curry didn’t sort out!’
