Linda’s Captains Day.

It all started the night before when fairies put flowers on all the red tee boxes followed by the long awaited plaque to Garden Project ‘26. Flower themed day followed with Photo Booth, Beat the Pro (Martin Hollins) on 2nd, only 3 did, 18holes of competition golf on the hottest day of the year! 🥵Linda sprayed players with water pistols, mist spray, wet towels and top-ups of water to help keep them cool. Halfway house provided shade, refreshments & photo opportunity with ‘Daisy’s’ Linda’s 1966 Morris Traveler. Fun games followed the competition for those who found the energy expertly run by Linda’s male guests with Mike Kjenstad taking charge. 70’s retro games of hula hoop & yoyo were closely contested.

Hugo cocktails welcomed 55 guests who returned for the evening of fun and laughter, starting with a yo-yo play off between Lucy & Kelly, singing of happy birthday’s before prize presentations. Followed by three course 70s inspired meal expertly prepared by Sarah & Jerry.

Overall winner of the Captains Day Trophy was Bella Coates with an amazing score 42pts. Runner up OCB Lucy Mills-Cripps 40pts from Emma Athow. A super day with a fabulous group of friends & family💕.
