New Members Evening and Scratch Fundraiser

Good Morning Members,
The New Year has brought some inclement weather, it had to happen at some point but our wonderful course is holding up well! I hope to see you all at the half way house this Sunday for bacon and sausage baps, I've missed the last two due to course closures but I would have been there had it not been flooded. All proceeds from my Sunday cookings will go to the Captain's Charity - The British Heart Foundation in memory of Rich Powley.

The last few months have seen an influx of New Members; so to welcome anyone who has recently joined, I have arranged a casual meeting in the Clubhouse on Friday 30th January at 6.30pm. Myself and some of the Committee Members can introduce ourselves, help with any golf issues you may have encountered and explore the possibilities that Ramsey Golf and Bowls Club can offer.
The Swing Room has been hired for a couple of hours so bring a wedge with you for a little pitching fun while having a beer!

Secondly, the Scratch Team Captain- Paul Hodgkin has added the following:
The Scratch Team are organising another Fundraiser this year on March 21st and would love your support again.
The format is Texas Scramble again and teams will have a Scratch Team Player allocated to each 3 ball. This time we have 2 x 4 ball vouchers that will be held in the Ball Draws - £10 per ticket.
1. Hollinwell Golf Club 2. Woodhall Spa Golf Club
These will be 2 separate draws, so you could win both! The Howdidido booking goes live from the 7th Feb but tickets for the ball draws can be purchased in the Clubhouse from this weekend. Please ask at the Bar.
We also currently have some great prizes up for grabs, including 5 x 4 Ball vouchers, prizes for Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Raffle on the day!
