Senior’s section update

On Friday 12th December the Seniors Section held their Christmas lunch. Lunch was preceded by a Stableford competition using just three clubs and a putter. Once again the weather was kind and the rain held off as 24 players played in the competition. Scores were impressive and many of the players wondered why they normally carry so many clubs! The eventual winner was Trevor Brown with 39 pts, second, on count back, was John Dunham with 37 pts and third also with 37pts was Phil Ackers. Well done gentlemen.

Lunch was attended by 29 members. Everyone entered into the spirit of the season with Christmas jumpers and some great secret Santa gifts. As always Sarah and her team in the kitchen and Becs behind the bar did a great job. The food was fantastic and everyone had a great time.
