The Ron Freeman Foursomes final- congratulations to Ramsey member Paul Hodgkin

Congratulations to Paul Hodgkin of Ramsey GC & Ed Dimambro of Gog Magog GC on winning the Ron Freeman Foursomes at the Links GC defeating Luke Foulser & Sam Millhouse of the Links GC by 3 & 2.

A steady start from Hodgkin & Dimambro saw them get up early in the match where they were 2 up after 3 holes. A 2 putt birdie on the 4th put them 3 up.

Some scrappy play from the County pair allowed Foulser & Millhouse back in the game as they reduced the arrears 1 down through 10 holes.

Hodgkin & Dimambro then made birdies at the 13th and 14th to go back to 3 up with 4 to play.

A solid par 4 on the dog legged 16th hole was good enough for a 3&2 victory.

The match was played in great spirit, watched and refereed by County legend Andy Wylie, who presented the silver trophy to the worthy winners
