We have new scorecards!
Hello Members,
You may have noticed that we have recently introduced new scorecards. While the primary aim was to incorporate the new blue tees, the layout has also been redesigned to make all information clearer and easier to complete.
The key changes are:
* Inclusion of the new blue tees
* Space for three players’ scores, plus the marker
* A clearer tee selection indicator (now located in the top right corner)
* A dedicated space at the bottom for the marker’s name
As a Competitions Team, we sometimes receive cards that are incomplete, difficult to read, or not properly checked. Although we always try to avoid disqualifying players for administrative errors, there are occasions when this cannot be avoided. With the first competitions of the season now underway, please see the attached guidance on how to complete a card correctly (using a Stableford example), highlighting the key information required.
We would also like to remind members that even if you submit your score via an app (for general play rounds, medals, RAMs, Cornthwaites, etc.), a physical card signed by a marker must still be returned to one of the boxes in the clubhouse. The signed card is the official record and enables us to verify that the correct score has been submitted.
A printed copy of this guidance will also be put in each of the changing rooms.
If you have any questions regarding card completion, please speak to a member of the Competitions Team.
Kind regards,
RGC Comps Team
