‘Congratulations’ to Sharren Kjenstad, who won the County Seniors Championship at Girton GC on Wednesday this week. In a strong field of players, Sharren won on count back with a gross 80, and successfully retained the title she won last year.
A lesson for us all……Sharren started the round with a quadruple bogie, but never gave up. We all know that feeling of a poor start on the first hole, but Sharren demonstrated how a positive mindset can achieve positive results….well done Sharren!
Sharren now has the opportunity to represent the County in the Seniors event at Woodhall Spa GC in September.
A proud achievement for one of our Ramsey Ladies……..well done.
