Seniors Section Update

On Wednesday 25th the Seniors had their first inter-club match of the season, at home against March. It truly was “four seasons in one day”. There was a howling northerly wind, rain, sunshine and a heavy hail storm.
Considering the time of year and all the rain in recent weeks the course was in great condition and the March players were very complementary. Richard and his team were working on the greens but kindly worked around the match so that we had no closed holes or holes being worked on.

It was a very closely contested contest and the final result was a halved match with 4 games each. As always the catering staff did a great job for us that rounded off a very enjoyable day. Next up Elton Furze at home on the 8th April.
