Seniors’ section update

This has been a very busy week for the Seniors Section.

On Sunday 17th until Tuesday 19th, 16 players went away to Dunston Hall to play. The “weekend” consisted of a round of golf each day with the three days Stableford Scores being totalled up on the Tuesday to find an eventual overall winner. Despite the predicted rain we had three days of almost dry, sunny, if windy, weather. The course proved to be testing for most of us, with some well designed holes. The “down time” saw a snooker competition taking place as well as many of the guys using the pool or gym. The overall winner with a very impressive total score of 106pts was Roger Tacq, second with 92pts Mike King and third with 90pts Gavin Stokes.
