Seniors Section Update

Once again this has been a busy week for the Seniors Section, with a major competition and a match.

On Tuesday 2nd June, 31 players turned out to play the Strokeplay Thompson Trophy. The course was in great condition and the weather was kind to us. The eventual winner was Seniors Captain Paul Barry with a net 67, second, on count back, was Phil Ackers with a net 68 and third, also on 68, was Adrian Molloy.

On Thursday 4th the Seniors played an away match at Elton Furze. It was very windy and there were a couple of very heavy showers. The final result on the day was a very disappointing win to Elton Furze of 7 1/2 - 1/2.
