Seniors Update 8 and 15th July

On Wednesday 8th July the Seniors played their latest match. This time at home against Thorney Lakes. It was an extremely hot and humid day. Once again the course, particularly the greens, was in excellent condition, especially considering the recent weather. Without fail every member of the Thorney team praised the condition of the course. Thank you Richard and the team.

The result of the match was a convincing 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 games to Ramsey.

On Wednesday 15th July the Seniors played their latest match. This was away at a very strong team at Tydd St Giles. The course was in reasonable condition, considering the weather we have had. The greens were beautifully green but proved to be very slow and challenging after playing our own fabulous greens at Ramsey. Unfortunately, Tydd beat us for the second time this season, this time with a comfortable 6 - 1 win.
