With May almost here hopefully it should be getting a little warmer after the wet and cold early Spring.
Head green keeper (HGK) Richard and his team are doing a great job on the course and every thing is looking good for the Summer.
Richard has asked if anyone would like to volunteer to do work on the course he would be very grateful .
County Knockouts
Well done to Sharren Kjenstad and Carol Harris on their 3&2 win in the Daily Mail foursomes against Northampton County GC.
Ollie Wright also through to the next round of his county singles with a 6&5 win over his opponent from Haydon Grange.
Dan Brand and Vinnie Woodward have got through two rounds so far in their Daily Mail Foursomes with wins over Oundle 6&4 and St Neots 4&3.

Congratulations to Paul Glonek for his hole in one in his Greensomes match at March GC and to Dan Brand with his on the 2nd hole here at Ramsey on Saturday in his semi final of the Cornthwaite Bowl.
Scratch Team
The scratch team will be playing their Goddard cup knockout on Friday 3rd May against St Ives. First tee is at 5.30 for anyone wanting to pop down to give them some support .
Competitions
The plans are well under way for the clubs own fundraiser competition on the 7th of July, which again has proved very popular and with the benefit of the monies raised being invested in the club. Visitors holding a valid WHS ID are also welcome to participate in the day.

Dreamflight 7th June

This event is being run by active volunteer and past member Sally Thomas.
You can enter by HOWDIDIDO. It has been set up with no charges applied as these are done separately.
Comps have asked if anyone who has a knockout match remaining please could you fit them in as soon as possible .

Captain’s Cabin
Captain’s cabin will be open on bank holiday Monday with hot sausage rolls, chocolate bars and hot and cold drinks. A big thank you to everyone for their much appreciated support of the halfway house.
